WIPs
I like to be working on several novel length stories at once. They keep turning up in my head, and working on several of them at the time keeps me (largely) from severe writer’s blocks.
Chrome (working title)
James is born in working class Britain in the middle of the 19th century, but what threatens to turn into a typical Victorian novel about a boy full of hopes, dreams and ideals is abruptly cut short when James meets a charismatic gentleman who makes him an offer of which the implications and consequences are not all that clear.
The protagonist of this story showed up in 2007, but it wasn’t until 2009 that I began working on his story.
Double Exposure (working title)
33 year old photographer Sean lives with his partner and love of his life. He has plenty of work, a circle of good friends and a regular training schedule at the local gym. But Sean is about to have his life turned upside down when reality starts to get plain weird around him. Just, no one else seems to be noticing, and he is known to have an overly active imagination.
I am actually working on a few more, but the ones above are those I’m most active with at the moment. They both started out asNaNoWriMo novels.
